Syllabus and Scheme of examination
Candidates must go through the DSSSB Staff Nurse Syllabus and Exam Pattern and understand it thoroughly. It will enable the candidates to prepare the best preparation strategy to ace the exam. The DSSSB Staff Nurse selection process comprises a written exam. This exam will be conducted by the DSSSB as per the schedule specified in the notification. Only those candidates who qualify this exam will be eligible for the post of Staff Nurse.
- The written exam will feature objective-type multiple-choice questions and will be divided into two sections, i.e. Section A and Section B.
- The duration of the examination will be 120 minutes, i.e. 2 hours.
- There will be negative marking in this exam. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.
- Visually handicapped candidates will get 40 minutes extra on top of the 2-hour duration for the exam.
- The question paper will be bilingual, i.e. it will come in both Hindi and English.
- Candidates will have to score the minimum qualifying marks in order to get into the DSSSB Staff Nurse Merit List.
Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria in order to be eligible to appear for the exam. In case a candidate fails to meet the minimum requirements, then he/she will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
